Rhetoric, Pathos ,Ethos and Logos

Ethos is an appeal to ethics. This will show the business's credibility. E.g "My three decades of experience in public service, my tireless commitment to the people of this community, and my willingness to reach across the aisle and cooperate with the opposition, make me the ideal candidate for your mayor.

Pathos is an appeal to emotion and will make the customer think about what relates to them and how it affects them emotionally. E.g"If we don’t move soon, we’re all going to die! Can’t you see how dangerous it would be to stay?

Logos is an appeal to logic and is a way of persuading an audience by reason. E.g "History has shown time and again that absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Reflection on Tourism,Antarctica

Day 1: Today my team worked on some research for Tourism in Antarctica. We found out that it started off as just sea tourism in the 1960's and many eager explorers would want to go on these so they could find out more about Antarctica and this was an opportunity for journalists to write about Antarctica and what they saw while traveling.

Day 2: Today I worked on our research doc and added in facts about Antarctica's landscape and environment. The wildlife and environment is a great view for tourists to see and find out more about what life would be like living in Antarctica.

Closing: This whole project has helped me learn more ways of presenting and how to be creative in everything we do. I learned that you can add in videos into presentations and even take a step further and create your own kahoot to fully immerse your audience in the presentation. I think my group did well doing our presentation, but maybe we could have rehearsed more and known exactly what we had to say on the spot.
