Bacteria Growth & Perishable Foods

Bacteria needs four things to grow. The first is moisture because they need water to drink, secondly, they need food to eat of and multiply to overtake the food/area. The third thing they need is warmth so they can keep warm and not freeze to death. The last thing is Time because they have to slowly multiply not rapidly grow.

Perishable is a food that can go off quickly or within a day that must be eaten quickly to reduce bacteria growing on the surface. Non-Perishable is a food that does not go off very quickly (sugar, preservatives etc.).
