I think that creativity is done with all sorts of factors to motivate you and keep you at your goal.

9Drama-Create & Sell

In drama we had to make up a type of elixir that we could convince people to invest and buy it for their use. My group of two had made an energy elixir that is a 4 star health rated drink with no caffeine and loads of energy.
How can I sell my elixir to the Carmen road academy cafe?
I can advertise my product and be honest with what is inside it.
How can I get it past the healthy kids committee?
I can make sure the elixir has a high health rating and not much caffeine and/or sugar.
The price is really good as it is a 550ml bottle for $3.

Slogan:Get boosted all the energy for less!

9English-Entrepreneur

Steve Jobs is world-wide known entrepreneur who had troubles starting up his company Apple.
He started up his company with Steve Wozniak in 1976.
Their company made electronic products starting with the first mac's then moving up from there.
The challenges they had faced were Steve's early life when he was always a prankster due to being bored and his teacher needed to bribe him to actually learn. Wozniak had lots of background knowledge about computers and computer chips which obviously helped them succeed. Sadly Steve Jobs had passed away in 2011 so this affected the company quite dramatically as he was the main source of their product ideas.

9Math-Reflection/Geometry

Geometry

The main thing we covered was that angles in a full circle equal 360 degrees, angles in a semi circle equal 180 degrees etc. Also we learnt other facts about angles and the history of geometry. A new theorem I found out was the Pythagoras theory. I found that M.C Escher and The Egyptians are similar as they both used some form of a picture to express some thinking or way to do things in maths/geometry. One of my strengths in this unit was that I already know quite a bit about angles so it helped with doing all the work.

9Tech-Balacing Toy Timeline

I am going to make a balancing toy for my Dad. This is the process I did when making my balancing toy( In order of time I did it in over a period of 12 weeks so far):

Week 1 Health & Safety
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPPciVYVLIQ
Week 2 Health & Safety

Week 3: Starting up my project I began by cutting my balance to the scale required by using a hack saw. The size I cut it into was 80cm by 50cm by 5cm.
Week 4: After doing this I began cleaning up my work with a file and sand paper then used some engineers blue to cut my balance straight.
Week 5: Once I finished cutting up my balance I moved onto planning what design my balance would look like.
Week 6: I then glued on the design onto the actual balance then cut it with the band saw. Once I finished cutting it out I filed the sharp edges down then started my base.
Week 7: I cut out the base in the size of 100cm by 20cm by 5cm. Once I finished the cutting I cleaned it up by using a file and sandpaper to make it shiny.
Week 8: Next I drilled in 4 holes in my base to show where the screws and the two metal poles would go in. The next day we had a lesson on planning what our wire designs would look like and I made 3 scale designs on what I think I will be doing for the final product.
Week 9: Later I began cutting the small bar that was required to put on the balance for it to actually balance! When that was finished I cut out the rods and got ready to weld both of the parts, my balance and base.
Week 10: http://baltoy.blogspot.co.nz/2017/05/welding-for-first-time.html  Welding went really well and I did not make any major mistakes while doing it, It was also quite fun melting the brazing rod into the metal as it looked all gooey!
Week 11: I filed down the weld marks and cleaned it up to make it look less lumpy
Week 12: I planned how my wire would work out and learned how to spray paint and how to cut the wood in the woodwork shop.
Week 13: Currently here I am starting to make my wire design and I think I only need about 4-6 lessons to finish my product.

Who are the characters? The characters in this book are Hugo, The station inspector, Hugo's father, Hugo's uncle,Isabelle,Monsieur Fredrick,Papa Georges.Madame Jeanne
Did I like this text?Yes I quite enjoyed this text as it left me wondering what the automaton did at the end of the first part. The story also had good characters and scenes put into it.

Choose one of these questions to answer:

Describe an important character in the text? What makes this character important?
Hugo is a major character in the story as he is the one who discovered the automaton and figured out what it meant and what it did. If he was not in the story the story line would change dramatically as he brought back Papa Georges' past and helped him remember it and not be sad about it.

9English-Camera Reference Sheet

This is what I have been working on in English Hope you enjoy!
Establishing Shot-It is generally a long or extreme-long shot at the beginning of a scene indicating where, and sometimes when, the remainder of the scene takes place. Establishing shots were more common during the classical era of film making than they are now.
Extreme Long Shot-A long shot in film, a view of a scene that is shot from a considerable distance, so that people appear as indistinct shapes. An extreme long shot is a view from an even greater distance, in which people appear as small dots in the landscape if at all (eg. a shot of New York's skyline).
Long Shot-Definition: Long Shot. LONG SHOT: In film, a view of a scene that is shot from a considerable distance, so that people appear as indistinct shapes.
Mid Shot-a shot taken at a medium distance.
Close Up-very near shot of a character or subject.
Extreme Close Up-Really close view of the character or subject (e.g eyes only).
POV shot-A point of view shot (also known as POV shot, First-person shot or a subjective camera) is a short film scene that shows what a character (the subject) is looking at (represented through the camera). ... The technique of POV is one of the foundations of film editing.
Over the shoulder shot-in film or video, an over the shoulder shot (also over shoulder, ab tu, OTS, or third-person shot) is a shot of someone or something taken from the perspective or camera angle from the shoulder of another person.
Bird’s Eye View-a general view from above.
Low Angle-In cinematography, a low-angle shot, is a shot from a camera angle positioned low on the vertical axis, anywhere below the eye line, looking up. Sometimes, it is even directly below the subject's feet. Psychologically, the effect of the low-angle shot is that it makes the subject look strong and powerful.
High Angle-A high-angle shot is a cinematic technique where the camera looks down on the subject from a high angle and the point of focus often gets "swallowed up." High-angle shots can make the subject seem vulnerable or powerless when applied with the correct mood, setting, and effects.
Tracking-A tracking shot is any shot where the camera moves alongside the object(s) it is recording. In cinematography, the term refers to a shotin which the camera is mounted on a camera dolly that is then placed on rails – like a railroad track. The camera is then pushed along the track while the image is being filmed.
Panning-verb (used without object), panned, panning. 1. to photograph or televise while rotating a camera on its vertical or horizontal axis in order to keep a moving person or object in view or allow the film to record a panorama : to pan from one end of the playing field to the other during the opening of the football game.
Zoom-Zooming in film making and television production refers to the technique of changing the focal length of a zoom lens (and hence the angle of view) during a shot – this technique is also called a zoom. ... Combined with a dolly camera move it is possible to create the dolly zoom effect.
Fade-Fade is when the object slowly disappears/fades away.
Wipe-A wipe is a type of film transition where one shot replaces another by travelling from one side of the frame to another or with a special shape.
