10SocialStudies-10 Worst countries using Child Soldiers
Child soldiers are children that are typically forced into war to fight for their country. A way of recruiting a child soldier includes giving the child narcotics to make them addicted to it and then rewarding them for every kill they get. This is a very sad part of some children's lives and the only reason they do this is either to save their family or because their parents cant afford for their demanding education. This map I have created shows where the 10 worst places using child soldiers are.

10DTE-The Best Online Safety Game Ever!
The Best Online Safety Game Ever!
Introduction
Over this past week, I have been playing this online game created by Google that teaches the user what a digital citizenship is and how most importantly to become internet safe. This game is called 'Interland' and my task was to analyze this game and how it helps us learn about being internet safe.
Digital Learning Object
The Interland Interactive game made by Google Inc.
Reflection
I had no idea that a game learning about online safety could actually be as fun as this! I definitely did learn a lot more about Phishing, Scam Emails and strong passwords whilst playing these super-fun games! I would definitely recommend everyone to give it a go, I mean who knows, you might learn something new! In this game, there are 4 main levels which are: Reality river, Mindful Mountain, Tower of Treasure, and Kind Kingdom.
-Reality River is basically a level where the player is set in a river trying to cross it. To cross the river the player must answer the questions correctly in order to move up a step. The questions vary but mainly focus on Online Phishing and scam/fake emails. The player is shown many possible answers to the question but only one of the answers are correct!
-The second level is called Mindful mountain where the level is set in a mirror-reflection game. The goal is to line up the pulsing beam up against angled mirrors in order to hit the correct people along the way. The goal is not to share the wrong information with people who should not see it. For example, the Situation is 'You have a funny video about your friends' you would want to share it to your friends only so you would angle up the beam and try to not hit the bad people out there on the internet, but rather your trusted friends.
-The third level is a level called Tower of Treasure where the aim of the game is to run in a temple-run like platform whilst collecting different letters/symbols on a keyboard to form a hacker-proof password. To start off, you create a simple password but as the levels progress, you add in capital letters and randomized symbols to make it virtually unguessable.
-The fourth and final level is called Kind Kingdom. In this level, the player is in a side-scroller type of game where the goal is to eliminate all cyber-bullies from saying mean things about the other internauts (that is; the online people in this game). You have to either trap the bullies or alternatively report them so they can do no more harm to the internauts. You also have to cheer up the internauts with what they have gone through so you can do this by picking up hearts around the map and giving them to the sad internauts which makes them all happy again!

Question
Once you have given this a go: what have you learned about online safety? Also, is your password really a safe one?

10SocialStudies-Slave Trade Triangle Paragraphs
These paragraphs explain to the reader what was the Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle and what was life like as an African slave back a few centuries ago. I thought that the most interesting thing about learning this topic was finding out what a slave would do during the day in their work life. I would have rated this topic an 8 out of 10 because I did really like this topic and it is always good to learn about the bad history as well as the good.
How to Write a Paragraph
Teachers Example
The Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle was an inhumane trade system based on the purchase and sale of Africans into slavery, taking away their human rights and freedom. It was successful because the Slave Traders from Europe used the sale of Guns and Weapons to African Kings to buy their Slaves. African men, women, and children were taken from their homes and country against their will. This part of the Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle was called the First Passage. The next part of the trade system saw brutal treatment on the slave ships.
Paragraph-The First Passage
The Atlantic Slave Trade Triangle was a revolting trade system where the deal is concluded by the purchase of innocent African slaves into harsh work conditions of slavery. It was widely used in Europe due to their gun technology. They would systematically trade with an African King for slaves in exchange for their lethal stick-shaped weapons. These weapons were greatly desired by these wealthy kings due to it giving them a huge advantage if a war ever does break out. Many innocent Africans were unknowingly captured and taken to serve wealthy Europeans who needed work to be done for them. Many Africans were taken from what they called ‘home’ back then. This miniscule section of the Slave Trade System was given the name of “The First Passage’ but this was only the start of they’re dreadful journey into slavery. Awaiting them was a devasting voyage out to sea...
-Commented by Johnny and Baylie
Paragraph-The Middle Passage
This part of the Slave Trade Triangle consisted of brutal treatment of these poor African Slaves. The slaves were taken to huge ships awaiting their transport to the Caribbean to be exchanged for a ship-load of tobacco and cotton. The slaves were shipped in such deadly conditions that a ginormous percentage of them were deceased by the time they had finished the voyage. The slaves were stuck in cramped spaces where there was absolutely no freedom of life or any accessible toilets. The slaves were also forced to dance to keep them fit and ultimately shame themselves in front of the greedy crew. This part of the Slave Trade System was entitled “The Middle Passage” and was quite honestly one of the worst parts of the slave's life.
Paragraph-The Third Passage
Life as a slave was horrendous, if not deadly. The life of a slave was basically to wake up extremely early, work all day, eat little and sleep little. The slaves would have had to work with lack of energy and lack of food, basically meaning they were pushed to their max limits. The slaves had to harvest cotton and tobacco for the Europeans to sell overseas. Some slaves would have got punished if they did not do enough work so the punishment would vary depending on how much they harvested. Some slaves could have even gotten whipped for their lack of work. The items that the slaves had harvested would have then been shipped back to the USA to complete the Slave Trade Triangle.

10Music-Keyboard Skills Performance
1. The song that I chose to do was called "Despacito". I chose this song to perform because I have heard of it before and it has a nice beat to it.
2.I felt that my performance went well because I have been playing in front of an audience for about a year now.
3.I would improve my performance by using more dynamics on a real piano, not a keyboard.
